Both artists are expected to perform their collaborative track "Father," which serves as the lead single from Ye's twelfth studio album, *Bully*, released in 2026. The song, initially previewed in a Beats by Dre commercial in December 2025 and later at a Los Angeles listening party in March 2026, explores themes of spiritual redemption, identity, and reinvention. Travis Scott's verse on the track reportedly mirrors Ye's narrative, incorporating references to his Houston origins and a notable Nike deal.

Preparations for the concert have been extensive. Ticket pre-registration began on March 5, 2026, with general sales opening on March 9, 2026. By May 8, 2026, reports indicated that 75,000 tickets had already been sold, signaling immense public interest. The event is organized by ILS Vision, with founder Erdem Karahan highlighting the unique scale offered by the Ataturk Olympic Stadium. A distinctive globe-shaped stage is being transported to Istanbul, requiring 40 truckloads of gear and hundreds of workers for its ten-day assembly. The entire event will be broadcast live on television, captured by 16 cameras and steadicam systems to ensure comprehensive coverage.

Scott, who signed to Ye's GOOD Music label early in his career, has contributed to projects such as the 2012 compilation *Cruel Summer* and featured on tracks like "Champions," "Praise God," and "Wash Us In The Blood." Further fueling speculation about his guest appearance, Travis Scott is also scheduled for a club appearance in Istanbul on May 31, 2026, the day after Ye's concert.

Ye's creative collaborator, Ludwig Brandt, has offered insight into the track "Father," interpreting it as "a layered commentary on power, institutional control, and the line between faith and obedience." Ye's own lyrics in the song, including "Bye-bye to my old self / Wake up to the new me," underscore the themes of personal transformation. Lvbel C5, or Süleyman Burak Bodur, is another prominent Turkish rap artist who achieved significant chart success with collaborations like "Ralli" in 2021.
