The familial connection stems from the marriage of Murphy's eldest son, Eric, and Lawrence's daughter, Jasmin, who tied the knot in a private church ceremony in May 2025. The couple announced they were expecting in February 2026, and their daughter, Ari Skye, arrived in April 2026, officially making Murphy and Lawrence in-laws and co-grandfathers.
